About the event
Cranford Fire Dept will discuss various aspects of fire safety. Discussion will include roles of the fire fighters, police and EMT units, preventative measures to “fire safe” your home, steps to follow when a fire is discovered in your home, creation of a “family action plan” in case of an evacuation, proper maintenance and use of electrical outlets, extension cords, and lithium batteries carbon monoxide safety. Also including is a special demonstration on how to store, use and discard your fire extinguishers.
